The Window People located conveniently off of I-95 in Stamford, CT has been selling and installing high quality home improvement products to business and homeowners in Fairfield and Westchester Counties since 1932. The company, originally called A1 Aluminum Products, specialized in a variety of siding, skylight and roofing materials. In 1983, the current owner Ted Davey expanded the business to include windows, doors and retractable awnings. Since then, the Window People has been installing and servicing unique wood, aluminum and vinyl windows as well as wood, fiberglass and steel entry and patio doors, along with the original product line. Most recently, because of our extensive experience in carpentry, an outstanding line of American made kitchen and bath cabinets have been added.
The Window People are certified by the CT Department of Consumer Protection and are EPA-Certified renovators. Fully licensed and insured, we provide factory-authorized service for Weather Shield and Lincoln windows and doors in addition to repairing most other brands. Other product lines carried include Andersen, Marvin, Ideal, Kolbe, Therma-Tru, ProVia, Rogue Valley, VELUX, Emtek hardware, GAF roofing, CertainTeed siding, Aristocrat awnings, and Wolf cabinetry, among others. Most products come in a wide variety of styles and customization is always available to meet your exact needs and budget.
